Dan D’Andrea, PT, is the founder of PreHab Plus and a physical therapist with more than 30 years of experience helping patients achieve exceptional outcomes before and after orthopedic surgery.

Dan founded PreHab Plus on a simple belief: patients preparing for orthopedic surgery deserve personalized preparation that reflects their unique readiness—not a one-size-fits-all approach. Through a blend of expert in-home care, telehealth support, and practical guidance, he delivers a modern, patient-centered model designed to reduce anxiety, improve surgical outcomes, and strengthen the partnership between patients and their orthopedic teams.

Throughout his career, Dan has worked alongside many of the nation’s top orthopedic surgeons and hospital systems across New York City, Fairfield County, CT, and Orlando, FL. His clinical focus has centered on Sports Medicine and Total Joint Arthroplasty—helping patients enhance their readiness, confidence, and recovery before and after joint reconstruction procedures.

A native of Stamford, Connecticut, Dan graduated from Stamford Catholic High School in 1986 and went on to study Sports Medicine at Springfield College, earning his Bachelor of Science with a concentration in Athletic Training in 1990. He continued his professional journey at the University of Miami, where he earned his Master of Science in Physical Therapy in 1992.

Today, Dan brings his deep clinical experience, warm communication style, and passion for elevating patient care to every PreHab Plus visit—making him a trusted resource for patients, families, and surgeons throughout the Orlando region.
